The Russell Branca Quintet plays "THE MUSIC OF WAYNE SHORTER" with Russell Branca-bass, Ada Rovatti - sax, Tom Beckham - vibes, Heather Bennett - piano, Ken Salters - drums, This will be a very special program saluting one of the all time great saxophonist/composers in jazz. One of the last "living legends".

RADAM SCHWARTZ & “CONSPIRACY FOR POSITIVITY” with Radam Schwartz – organ, James Gibbs III - trumpet, Anthony Ware – alto sax, Misha Fatkiev – guitar, Joe Brown Jr. – drums With his Hammond B3 organ, Arabesque Records recording artist Radam Schwartz energizes every room he plays with the joyous groove of hard driving modern jazz. "Jazz for Peace" is organized by misician Russell Branca (of theResistance Cinema). It is held at the Bowery Poetry Club where it gives a
performance space to jazz musicians and benefits various progressive
organizations. For Monday, November 12th, WORLD CAN'T WAIT, is one of the
four beneficiaries. Tickets cost $8 each. WCW receives $4 for each
ticket we sell. The ticket can then be used on either November 12th or
for a different performance on December 17th.
